Summer TV : the most interesting casts

Summer is here and thankfully TV stations don't treat it as the deadliest time of year. There are some great tv shows, some sweet returns and some awkward choices but there is a lot to watch. So my favorite summer tv casts so far.

1.I have discovered an exceptional series,it is not summer tv but I have to share it because it is simply fantastic.

LOVE/HATE is an Irish series,a cruel and graphic story about Dublin crime scene. There were 3 seasons so far and now they are shooting the fourth.

It is a brilliant tv product, and the cast is amazing. So many interesting faces, strong and brave actors, from the leads to the supporting actors, everyone is exceptional.

Great work from the casting director Maureen Hughes and sensational interpretations from Robert Sheehan (whom I have already mentioned in my blogs),Tom Vaughan - Lawlor,Aidan Gillen and absolutely everyone else. One of the best casts I have ever seen on European televisions!!!!!

2."Ray Donovan", an intriguing story from Showtime, surprising subject and great creators.

I had my doubts about Liev Schreiber,he was the weakest casting link in pilot but I am happy I gave him the benefit of doubt. He was good in the following episodes, precise and savy. The rest of the cast is excellent, with amazingly flippant Jon Voight, it was lovely to see him in a great project.Eliot Gould also very amusing, and Eddie Marsan and Dash Mihok poignant as brothers Donovan.Very good job, casting director John Papsidera.

3."A Place to Call Home",Australian tv series, true summer delight,a prime time soap that turned amazing by sheer force of great acting. It has everything a soap should have but it has something more,an exceptional cast. They are so good that even the absurdities of the script don't irritate you.Marta Dusseldorp,Arianwen Parkes Lockwood,Craig Hall and the best of them,Noni Hazlehurst are dramatic, touching and credible.Great casting job from the casting director Ann Robinson and all the acting ensemble.

4."Necessary Roughness",a sentimental choice because it is so great to watch dr Santino,a woman of a certain age::)),having so much fun and bewitching so many guys.Good for You dr Santino!I love Callie Thorne, always did and her great sense of humour and effortless acting make this show appealing. She is enjoying herself immensely and the public can enjoy with her and her hot co-stars,John Stamos,Scott Cohen and a very interesting Mehcad Brooks.
